Job description

Your responsibilities

As part of our Internal Audit team, combine traditional audit work with AI-supported audit processes and data analytics to make internal controls more efficient and precise. Develop AI- and GenAI-based audit approaches—for example anomaly detection, predictive auditing, RPA-supported continuous audits, process mining, and generative-AI models for automated report writing—and bring modern technologies into audit practice. Use machine learning and GenAI (e.g. Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, OpenAI API) to identify risks, visualize findings, and derive data-driven recommendations. Assess AI and GenAI systems for governance, explainability and transparency, fairness and bias, privacy compliance, and robustness against changes such as model drift. Evaluate AI applications against recognized standards (e.g. ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act) and develop internal AI-control frameworks. Work across Data Science, Compliance, and IT teams and actively drive audit innovation. Contribute to developing our consulting business and publish expert articles on topics such as AI governance, audit automation, and digital audit methods.

Your profile

Completed university degree, ideally in business administration, economics, business informatics, or computer science. Preferably several years of experience in internal audit, AI audit, data analytics, or process-oriented consulting. Strong knowledge of internal audit and keen interest in AI-supported audit approaches such as machine learning, process mining, and audit automation. Analytical and structured, with an interest in making audits smarter, faster, and more transparent through AI. Knowledge of Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable tools; CIA, CISA, or data-analytics certifications are a plus. Interested in AI applications and their potential to improve efficiency and innovation in financial-services processes. Fluent German and English. And last but not least: you enjoy genuine teamwork.
