Around 600 software and systems developers work across Switzerland in Data, Technology & Innovation, developing the technology of tomorrow in-house. We also collaborate in global teams and networks. We shape and integrate the latest tools, hold hackathons, and our agile product teams are self-organizing and responsible for their work end to end.

What you can expect

• Join the “Genialytics” product team and actively drive Data & AI use cases for Property & Casualty underwriting, with the aim of creating genuine, measurable value.
• Develop, optimize, and operate cloud-based Data & AI applications on GCP that use resources efficiently and contribute directly to business goals.
• Contribute knowledge to the team through code reviews, professional discussion, and establishing best practices that help the whole team grow.
• Follow the latest developments in Data and Generative AI, assess them critically, and make them useful for your team and stakeholders.
• Strengthen business stakeholders’ analytical thinking and support them in applying AI appropriately, acting as a trusted partner between business and technology.

What you bring

• At least 3 years of experience as an AI Engineer, Data Scientist, or Software Engineer, and a strong track record of creating measurable value from AI and software solutions together with the business.
• Practical familiarity with our technology stack: Python, REST APIs, LangChain / LangGraph / LangSmith, vector stores, RAG, SQL, CI/CD, and Git—and know how to combine these components effectively.
• A hands-on mindset: you take initiative, think beyond the obvious, and are genuinely curious about new concepts and ideas.
• Familiarity with software-engineering best practices and modern collaboration models, and confidence designing cloud-native architectures.
• Data affinity and analytical thinking, with the ability to understand business problems and processes in depth. You know the best solution starts with truly understanding the problem.
• Fluent German and English.
