Company description

As one of Europe’s leading management and technology consultancies, we are a true technology player. We see ourselves as thought leaders: we act and think strategically, develop tailored solutions and precise processes with our clients, and implement innovative technologies. We have more than 50,000 tech-minded, smart people worldwide; together, we shape the future for our clients and society.

Are you ready to help shape digital Europe?

Job description

You explain to clients what AI and GenAI can do, from LLMs and Conversational AI through to Agentic AI.

You lead workshops with clients and end users, gather and structure their AI requirements, and translate them into actionable measures and backlogs, for example as user stories.

You also assess current AI technologies and platforms, evaluate solution concepts, and ensure compliance with standards and best practices.

You keep the needs of all relevant stakeholders in view, promote regular professional exchange, and help build a network.

Consulting requires flexibility: assignments depend on our clients and project situation; you will work across Germany in our offices, at client sites, and from home.

Qualifications

A completed degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, or a similar field.

Several years of experience gathering requirements, aligning stakeholders, and creating use cases, including translating complex requirements into technical concepts.

Strong technical knowledge and practical experience with modern AI technologies such as Generative AI, Large Language Models, Conversational AI, Agentic AI, and image, document, or text processing, along with knowledge of relevant platforms and tools such as Python, Docker, common frameworks, and cloud providers.

Experience building and managing AI networks.

Knowledge of data protection, IT security, or the AI Act is a plus.

Professional experience in the public sector is also an advantage.

Very good German (at least C1) and good English skills complete your profile.

Additional information

Professional development: extensive technical and methodology training, including certifications, and varied development opportunities within the company.

Work-life balance: hybrid work within Germany and, for a limited period, in designated EU countries; family services; corporate fitness; and the option of a sabbatical.

Flexible vacation: 30 days of annual leave, with the option to increase or decrease this by up to 5 days.

SpenditCard: In addition to your salary, you receive €50 per month in tax-free credit, which you can use flexibly at nearby shops.

IT equipment: We help provide additional equipment needed for optimal location-flexible work.

Mobility: company car and company bicycle through salary conversion, plus a subsidy for the Deutschlandticket.

Our mindset: team spirit, open doors, an informal culture, and diversity in practice.

Diversity is an important foundation of our corporate culture. We want to create an inclusive environment that reflects the diversity of all 2,600 employees in Germany and Austria and enables you to thrive. At Sopra Steria, we believe your individuality is key to sustainable business success.

We are committed to a sustainable future. Through group-wide scholarships and corporate volunteering programs, and projects promoting education, equal opportunity, and digital inclusion, we take responsibility for society. We believe digital innovation is key to equality, inclusion, and climate protection.
