Job description

As one of Europe’s leading management and technology consultancies, we are a true technology player. We see ourselves as thought leaders: we act and think strategically, develop tailored solutions and precise processes with our clients, and implement innovative technologies. We have more than 50,000 tech-minded, smart people worldwide; together, we shape the future for our clients and society.

Are you ready to help shape digital Europe?

Design and implement end-to-end GenAI and ML infrastructures covering the full lifecycle of AI use cases—from data preparation and model training and fine-tuning (e.g. LLMs), to triggers for continuous retraining, delivering models as services, and monitoring.

Plan, build, and administer operating platforms (on-premises or cloud) for GenAI and ML applications, based on modern technologies such as Kubernetes and modern container orchestration approaches; analyze and optimize existing client platforms.

Provision and deploy local LLMs and generative AI models on the platform, including integrating tools and APIs for GenAI workflows and applications.

Support Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Machine Learning Engineers with interfaces, data preparation, and workflows.

Advise clients as partners through every project phase, from requirements definition and design through implementation and successful production launch.

Take responsibility for quality and project success and actively help develop our consulting portfolio, particularly in GenAI and LLM infrastructure.

Consulting requires flexibility: assignments depend on our clients and project situation; you will work across Germany in our offices, at client sites, and from home.

You have a completed degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, business mathematics, engineering, business engineering, or a comparable field, ideally specializing in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or cloud technologies.

You have very good knowledge and several years of professional experience with container-based architectures (e.g. Docker) and platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift, particularly for GenAI and ML infrastructure.

You have strong knowledge and experience with relevant tools and frameworks across the ML and GenAI lifecycle, such as Hugging Face, NVIDIA AI Enterprise, vLLM, and LangChain, as well as model training, fine-tuning (e.g. LoRA, prompt tuning), and deployment techniques.

You have knowledge and experience with cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud, particularly for deploying ML and GenAI applications.

You have extensive experience with automation and development tools, including Python, scripting tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform), software development tools (e.g. Git, GitLab, Jenkins), and Linux-based operating systems.

You can communicate complex technical topics appropriately for the audience and have experience in large IT environments and organizations, ideally in the public sector.

Very good German (C1 or above) and English skills complete your profile.

Professional development: extensive technical and methodology training, including certifications, and varied development opportunities within the company.

Work-life balance: hybrid work within Germany and, for a limited period, in designated EU countries; family services; corporate fitness; and the option of a sabbatical.

Flexible vacation: 30 days of annual leave, with the option to increase or decrease this by up to 5 days.

SpenditCard: In addition to your salary, you receive €50 per month in tax-free credit, which you can use flexibly at nearby shops.

IT equipment: We help provide additional equipment needed for optimal location-flexible work.

Mobility: company car and company bicycle through salary conversion, plus a subsidy for the Deutschlandticket.

Our mindset: team spirit, open doors, an informal culture, and diversity in practice.

Diversity is an important foundation of our corporate culture. We want to create an inclusive environment that reflects the diversity of all 2,700 employees in Germany and Austria and enables you to thrive. At Sopra Steria, we believe your individuality is key to sustainable business success.

We are committed to a sustainable future. Through group-wide scholarships and corporate volunteering programs, and projects promoting education, equal opportunity, and digital inclusion, we take responsibility for society. We believe digital innovation is key to equality, inclusion, and climate protection.
