Job description

As one of Europe’s leading management and technology consultancies, we are a true technology player. We see ourselves as thought leaders: we act and think strategically, develop tailored solutions and precise processes with our clients, and implement innovative technologies. We have more than 50,000 tech-minded, smart people worldwide; together, we shape the future for our clients and society.

Are you ready to help shape digital Europe?

You will develop innovative GenAI applications and intelligent AI assistants.

You will design agentic AI and multi-agent systems using modern agent frameworks.

You will develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions and connect different knowledge sources.

You will work with knowledge graphs, relational databases, and vector stores such as Neo4j, PostgreSQL, pgvector, or comparable technologies.

You will implement backend components with Python and work with cloud and container technologies.

Evaluating and testing AI systems, as well as building prototypes with Microsoft Copilot Studio, will also be part of your work.

You are in the final phase of a bachelor’s degree or pursuing a master’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, engineering, or a comparable field.

You have strong Python programming skills and initial practical software development experience.

Theoretical knowledge of GenAI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, or agent systems is preferred.

Initial experience with graph and vector databases, LangGraph, AutoGen, cloud technologies, or containers is an advantage.

You are analytical, able to solve problems, and work in a structured, independent way.

You are interested in evaluating, securing, and reliably integrating generative AI solutions.

You have German at C1 level and English at least at B2 level.

Work environment: exciting tasks in a dynamic market and knowledge sharing within a globally active group.

Work-study balance: 10 to 20 hours during the semester (with the option to work more during semester breaks), flexible scheduling, corporate fitness, and hybrid work (office/home) agreed with your manager.

Your prospects: the opportunity to complete a thesis and/or move directly into a full-time role after your studies.

Feel-good atmosphere: company-wide (online) team events, after-work gatherings, and office celebrations at our locations.

Our mindset: team spirit, open doors, an informal culture, and diversity in practice.

Diversity is an important foundation of our corporate culture. We want to create an inclusive environment that reflects the diversity of all 2,700 employees in Germany and Austria and enables you to thrive. At Sopra Steria, we believe your individuality is key to sustainable business success.

We are committed to a sustainable future. Through group-wide scholarships and corporate volunteering programs, and projects promoting education, equal opportunity, and digital inclusion, we take responsibility for society. We believe digital innovation is key to equality, inclusion, and climate protection.
