Job description

We are one of Europe’s leading management and technology consultancies and a genuine technology player. We are thought leaders who think and act strategically, co-create tailored solutions and precise processes with clients, and implement innovative technologies. Worldwide, more than 50,000 technology-minded people are shaping the future of clients and society. Are you ready to help shape digital Europe?

You will design and own AI- and data-driven solutions with real business impact across private-sector industries, including telecommunications, media, energy, manufacturing, and automotive. A central focus is modern Enterprise AI: LLM-based systems and GenAI applications, AI multi-agent architectures, and agentic workflows; Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG and GraphRAG), intelligent automation, and advanced document processing. Using modern platforms such as Sopra Trusted AI and partner technologies (e.g. Microsoft, Mistral, Haystack), you will create scalable, secure, regulatory-compliant Enterprise AI solutions. You will own the full client-project lifecycle, from use-case identification and architecture/design through implementation, scaling, and handover to operations. Technical, professional, and commercial management of projects and teams is also central. Contribute to business development, present AI solutions to executives, and support proposals, pitches, RFPs, and proofs of concept. Act as a strategic partner to clients, evolve their AI strategies, and expand our GenAI portfolio, particularly multi-agent systems. Develop AI-assisted solutions and automation, critically assess their value and limitations, and propose concrete ways to improve or establish processes. Consulting requires flexibility: work throughout Germany in our offices, at client locations, or from home depending on client and project needs.

Your profile

Excellent degree in Computer Science/business informatics, Data Science, mathematics, physics, or business/economics. Several years of practical Data Science, AI, or GenAI project experience, ideally in consulting or enterprise settings. Strong knowledge of relevant technologies and platforms, especially Python and SQL, and experience with cloud platforms, AI services, and data/ML platform architectures. Deep understanding of modern ML and AI concepts throughout the model-development lifecycle, including EDA, feature engineering, model evaluation, and production AI architectures. Ideally, experience with LLM-based systems, RAG, multi-agent AI architectures, and prompt engineering, or a strong software-engineering perspective on scalable AI. Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills; enjoy client interaction and co-creation; think entrepreneurially. Use AI tools purposefully and reflectively, critically assess their output, and bring current technology developments and ideas into your work and client solutions. Very good German (C1 or higher) and English.

Benefits

Extensive technical and methodological training, certifications, and varied internal career opportunities. Hybrid work in Germany and for limited periods in defined EU countries, family services, company fitness, and sabbaticals. 30 days of vacation, with the option to increase or reduce annual leave by up to 5 days. SpenditCard: €50 per month in tax-free credit for local shops. Support for additional IT equipment for flexible work. Mobility options include a company car or bike through salary conversion and a subsidy for the Deutschlandticket. Our culture: team spirit, open doors, informal communication, and lived diversity. We aim to create an inclusive environment reflecting the diversity of our 2,700 employees in Germany and Austria, where everyone can thrive. We take responsibility for a sustainable future through scholarships, corporate volunteering, and projects supporting education, equal opportunity, and digital inclusion. We believe digital innovation can advance equality, inclusion, and climate protection.
