Would you like to create real value with Generative AI? At Sopra Steria, you will work closely with clients and colleagues on engagements where modern AI is used to develop and implement solutions that make a real difference. Our work ranges from intelligent assistants and RAG-based solutions to AI agents and automated, integrated solutions based on Agentic Process Automation. We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to take Generative AI from idea and prototype to robust solutions in real client environments.

About the role

As part of our AI & Analytics team, you will work on highly innovative client engagements. You will design, develop, and implement solutions based on Generative AI and LLMs; work with RAG, AI agents, and other modern GenAI architectures; develop solutions on modern cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure AI Foundry; integrate AI with existing systems, data, and business processes; work closely with client business and technology teams to turn needs into scalable solutions; and contribute technical expertise and ideas on how Generative AI can create concrete business value.

Who we are looking for

You have substantial practical experience in Generative AI and have developed AI solutions in professional environments. You are technically strong, curious about developments in the field, and enjoy working between technology and business. At least 2–3 years’ hands-on experience developing GenAI solutions such as LLMs, RAG, and AI agents. Experience developing and implementing AI solutions on Microsoft Azure, Azure AI Foundry, or an equivalent platform. At least 3 years of Python or other relevant programming-language experience. Good understanding of software development, APIs, integrations, and how AI fits into larger technical ecosystems. Experience taking AI solutions from prototype or proof of concept to implementation. Able to work closely with clients and business stakeholders and translate needs into technical solutions. Fluent spoken and written Swedish and English.

Experience that is an advantage

Agentic AI and solutions where multiple agents, tools, or systems work together. Evaluation, monitoring, and quality assurance for Generative AI solutions. Data Science, machine learning, and statistical modeling. Data platforms, data warehousing, and data modeling. Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or similar modern data platforms. Consulting and leading technical client discussions.
