Responsibilities

Develop robust backend components for data-intensive AI applications, from API architecture through model integration. Design and optimize graph-database solutions (e.g. Neo4j) for complex data relationships and high-performance queries. Design, version, and operate RESTful APIs as a stable bridge between front ends, data sources, and AI services. Integrate AI into applications by connecting models and building inference pipelines and lightweight data/analysis workflows. Help evolve our AI portfolio by contributing ideas, building prototypes, and moving them into delivery together. Consulting requires flexibility: assignments depend on client and project needs; you will work across Germany in our offices, at client sites, and from home.

Your profile

Degree in Computer Science/business informatics, mathematics, engineering, or a comparable subject. Backend development experience with Python; Ruby is a plus. Strong knowledge of graph databases, ideally Neo4j. Good understanding of NLP and integrating AI models into data-driven systems. Structured, responsible, solution-oriented approach, with teamwork and communication skills. Curious and eager to develop professionally and personally. At least 3 years of substantial project experience. Initial experience with AI tools, ability to assess their output critically, and willingness to keep learning about new technologies. Good German (C1 or above) and English.
