Your new challenges

You will work across the entire project lifecycle, from consulting to coding:

• Scope and architect: analyze business needs to design appropriate generative AI solutions (RAG, AI agents, prompt optimization, and model specialization when needed), using services in the Google Cloud ecosystem.
• Industrialize: develop robust Python applications and integrate AI models with existing systems through APIs, data pipelines, and cloud services, turning experiments into production solutions.
• Deploy and optimize: put generative AI solutions into production on Google Cloud while ensuring performance, scalability, security, observability, and cost control.
• Advise and support adoption: explain technical issues clearly and help business and IT teams adopt generative AI.

Technical ecosystem (indicative and varying by assignment)

We are looking for an engineer who can design, develop, and industrialize generative AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

• Development and software engineering: excellent Python proficiency and development best practices (Clean Code, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, code review) to ensure robust, maintainable solutions.
• Generative AI and agents: experience designing LLM-based solutions, orchestrating workflows with LangChain or LlamaIndex, and using Vertex AI, Gemini, Model Garden, and Vertex AI Agent Builder.
• Data and RAG: proficiency with RAG architectures and related services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, AlloyDB, Vertex AI Vector Search, or other vector databases depending on client needs.
• GCP cloud: expertise with major Google Cloud services such as Cloud Run, GKE (Kubernetes), Vertex AI, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, IAM, Cloud Monitoring, and cloud architecture best practices.
• LLMOps and MLOps: building model deployment, evaluation, and monitoring pipelines with Vertex AI Pipelines, Vertex AI Evaluation, Model Monitoring, MLflow, or LangSmith.
• Security and governance: integrate security, data governance, and controls for AI use to design reliable, compliant, responsible solutions.

Your profile and areas of expertise to develop

• At least 3–8 years of experience in software development, data engineering, machine learning, or generative AI.
• Significant Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience implementing production solutions.
• Experience with Vertex AI, Gemini, BigQuery, Cloud Run, and GCP cloud-native architectures.
• Experience designing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions, AI agents, and LLM-based applications.
• Good understanding of security, governance, and cost-management challenges in cloud environments.

Nice to have

• Google Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Machine Learning Engineer, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Vertex AI Agent Builder and multi-agent architectures.
• Contributions to production generative AI projects.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes environments (GKE).
