Onepoint · Paris, France

Full-Time
Job description
Contribute to major transformations in businesses and public-sector organizations by combining technological innovation with business expertise, serving our clients and society and helping them move forward sustainably.
Beyond corporate social responsibility, we have developed our own RESET approach, which encompasses all our economic, social, environmental, and technological commitments, both within our community and for our clients. Onepoint is an inclusive, disability-friendly company with a strong diversity policy.
Your mission: go beyond proofs of concept and build generative AI systems that perform in production. Join our Data & AI community to tackle the biggest current challenge for enterprise AI: scaling up. As an AI Engineer, you do more than call APIs. You design, code, and deploy robust architectures (RAG, agents) that can run in production under real cost, latency, and security constraints.
You will work on responsibilities including:
- Implement RAG solutions, AI agents, and business assistants.
- Integrate LLMs into existing systems and orchestrate their interactions.
- Optimize prompts, embeddings, and orchestration chains to improve relevance and performance.
- Manage cost, latency, and security challenges for generative AI solutions.
- Establish good governance and compliance practices for generative AI.
- Collaborate closely with Data, IT, and business teams to ensure solutions are coherent.
Your day-to-day challenges
You will work across the entire project lifecycle, from consulting to coding:
- Scope and architect: analyze business needs to define the best strategy (RAG, agents, fine-tuning) and technology stack for the client environment.
- Industrialize: develop robust, modular Python code to integrate LLMs with existing information systems (APIs, data lakes) and move beyond proof-of-concept thinking.
- Optimize and secure: ensure solutions are viable by controlling costs and latency (LLMOps) and implementing security guardrails.
- Support adoption: explain technical concepts clearly and guide client business and IT teams as they adopt these technologies.
Your technology toolkit
We are not looking for an expert in just one tool, but an engineer who can work across varied ecosystems and advise on the following technologies:
- Core foundation: strong Python skills and software engineering best practices (Clean Code, Git, CI/CD) to ensure robust client deliverables.
- LLMs and orchestration: ability to orchestrate complex chains (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel) and select the right model for each use case (OpenAI, Azure AI, Bedrock, Vertex AI, or open-source solutions such as Mistral/Llama).
- Data and vector databases: integrate solutions into client data ecosystems using Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, or pgvector/Elasticsearch.
- Architecture and cloud: confidence deploying on AWS, Azure, GCP, or constrained on-premises environments.
- LLMOps: implement appropriate monitoring and evaluation tools for clients (LangSmith, MLflow, Ragas, etc.).
Your profile: engineer and educator
Experience: solid background in Data Science, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering (at least 2 years), with a move into generative AI and initial concrete accomplishments (advanced professional or personal projects).
Versatility: you are comfortable when a client uses Azure instead of AWS. You learn quickly and adapt to constraints such as legacy systems or banking security.
Consulting mindset: you can explain complex technical concepts clearly, including why a RAG system is or is not needed, to a business leader.
Production-ready mindset: you write clean code and understand that a consultant’s value is measured by the durability of what they leave behind.
Why join us?
- An organization firmly focused on AI: we are our own client and are pursuing an ambitious agentic transformation in our core business and across our supporting functions.
- Impact: work on our clients’ most strategic projects, where AI is truly changing business models.
- Community: connect with 450 peers, contribute to our research and publications, and take part in our events.
- Environment: inspiring offices and a company culture that values boldness and expertise.
Recruitment process
One of these interviews will be in person:
- Initial HR conversation about your goals and motivation, and an introduction to the company (30 minutes).
- HackerRank technical test (30 minutes).
- Second technical conversation with a future peer (1 hour).
- Third conversation with a Leader (45 minutes).
- Fourth conversation with a Partner: discuss your future role at Onepoint (30 minutes).
