Job description
Ekimetrics is a global leader in marketing and commercial effectiveness and large-scale AI solutions. Since 2006, we have helped companies optimize marketing and operations by combining AI with business and technology expertise in four areas: marketing and commercial effectiveness, customer analytics, operational excellence, and ESG/sustainability. With a fully in-house team and offices in Paris, London, New York, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, we create tailored solutions that turn data into positive impact. We are committed to responsible, resource-efficient AI and our values.
Why we are hiring
To support strong growth, we are looking for an AI Engineer intern who will spend 50% of the time on R&D projects in the Innovation team and 50% on client projects in Data & Transformation Services. Ekimetrics’ Innovation department conducts AI research with industrial and academic partners, while Data & Transformation Services helps clients with AI challenges. Our unique market position lets you combine varied statistical and machine-learning skills—from econometric models and deep learning to numerical optimization—with strategic thinking to address clients’ business needs.
Responsibilities
Analyze business needs, translate them into technical problems, and define measurable objectives. Work with senior team members/managers to identify technical approaches for project requirements. Conduct research in the Innovation department. Work with Data Engineers to collect, clean, and preprocess data for models; conduct exploratory analysis with relevant visualizations. Develop and deploy selected Machine Learning models, optimize existing models, and design new approaches to improve performance. Follow coding best practices to industrialize models with Solution experts. Clearly present technical results to teams and clients and collaborate across teams to integrate solutions effectively. Share expertise internally. Track technology advances and trends in Data Science and Machine Learning.
Candidate profile
Education in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. Strong understanding of the statistical and mathematical foundations of ML and AI algorithms. Good understanding of client teams’ technical needs and challenges. Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts accessibly and present results and next steps to clients. Able to analyze a problem and recommend suitable scenarios after scoping. Autonomous, proactive, excellent, and curious. Proficiency in Python and common libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, scikit-learn, and LangChain. Experience with version-control systems, particularly Git, for source tracking and collaboration. ETL/data-manipulation skills are a plus. English is essential.
Recruitment process
HackerRank technical test, HR interview with Talent Acquisition, case study, and final interview.
