NEXTON is hiring a full-time Machine Learning Engineer in Bordeaux.

Your future work environment

For one of our major clients, you will join a strategic, innovative IT department. You will work on cross-functional projects alongside Data Scientists to industrialize machine-learning models and promote sound development practices.

Your responsibilities

  • Help Data Science teams debug issues and provide technical support.
  • Design and industrialize deployment processes for machine-learning models.
  • Automate functional tests for models and ML pipelines.
  • Optimize Python code running in production.
  • Deploy applications following CI/CD best practices.
  • Lead training sessions and coach Data Scientists on development practices (Clean Code, SOLID, refactoring, etc.).
  • Propose suitable technical solutions and improve existing systems through continuous focus on quality and performance.

Profile

  • Higher education degree (BAC+5) and at least 4 years of experience in a similar role in a technology/data environment.
  • Excellent Python skills.
  • Good understanding of Machine Learning / Deep Learning fundamentals.
  • Proficient throughout the software development lifecycle, from build to production deployment.
  • Very good SQL skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes.
  • Rigor, initiative, and ability to support multidisciplinary teams.
