YOUR MISSIONS AND CHALLENGES AT VINCI CONSTRUCTION SI:

Reporting to the IT department team, managed by: David VINCENT, you will work in a team of 18 people.

Context: As part of the development of our Generative AI solutions, you will actively participate in the project to transform writing processes in the construction field. Your role will be to bring your developer rigor to transform AI prototypes into industrial, robust and scalable solutions.

Your missions will be structured around the following areas:

Software Development & API Architecture (Software):

Understand and translate user needs into a technical tool

Participate in the development and maintenance of robust and high-performance APIs (FastAPI)

Define clear and strict interface contracts (Pydantic) and implement asynchronous logic to manage LLM processing times

AI Engineering & RAG Optimization:

Contribute to optimizing RAG pipelines on the Azure AI Search infrastructure to enable the AI to precisely access the company's correct technical references

Participate in setting up and refining LLM processing and agent orchestration chains (LangChain, Pydantic AI)

Industrialization, Evaluation & DevOps:

Set up test pipelines and objective metrics aligned with business expectations to evaluate the relevance and consistency of AI-generated responses

Integrate best practices for logging, error handling and observability (handling timeouts and inconsistent responses)

Discover and work with the CI/CD stack (Azure DevOps) for production deployment

AND WHAT IF IT WERE YOU?

Currently in a Bac+5/6 program at an engineering school or a university specializing in Computer Science / Data / AI, you are looking for your end-of-studies internship and you have:

A strong Software Engineering sensibility: You like to code cleanly. You are convinced that a good AI model is nothing without exemplary production code (error handling, clean code, tests)

Proficiency in Python: You have good practical experience with Python and ideally a first experience (academic project or internship) with an API framework such as FastAPI

Aptitude for Generative AI: You understand the key concepts of LLMs, Prompt Engineering and the RAG pattern. Knowledge of LangChain or Pydantic AI is a plus

Technical curiosity & DevOps: You want to upskill on the Cloud ecosystem (Azure) and modern delivery tools (Git, CI/CD)

Human qualities: You are pragmatic, autonomous and have good listening skills to understand the business needs of non-technical users

Location: L’Archipel Campus de VINCI / Nanterre-Préfecture (92)

Start: From January 2027

Duration: 6 months
