Job description
As a Data & AI Engineer, you will bring practical AI capabilities to customers' data so they can create more value from it. You will work hands-on at the intersection of data science, data engineering, cloud engineering, and software development, bringing data to life with AI. Together with colleagues, you will integrate AI solutions into existing processes so data not only provides insight but also directly supports better decisions and more efficient work. Reliability, security, and tangible impact always come first.
You will design, develop, and refine advanced AI solutions such as generative AI and large language models (LLMs), focusing on the latest AI techniques. You will take models into production using modern MLOps methods. You will also build robust AI platforms in Azure and work with other cloud environments when needed. You will integrate AI into business processes through APIs, SDKs, or copilots, using intelligent methods and advanced prompt engineering to connect AI directly to each organization's needs.
You will work closely with data engineers, architects, specialists, and customers. You will guide implementations and help employees adopt AI solutions so they create lasting value. You will also contribute to our internal AI community and share your knowledge in learning sessions so we can grow together.
We are looking for someone with a broad, versatile profile. We realize the full list is extensive and you may only meet some of it—that is fine. What matters most is curiosity, willingness to learn, and energy for new challenges. This role spans several parts of our field and connects with emerging technology. We will support your development so you can grow in the role.
You are familiar with developing and implementing AI and machine-learning models and have a solid knowledge of Python, SQL, and ETL principles. You have experience with Azure AI and Azure Machine Learning and are comfortable working in other environments too. You know how to integrate AI solutions through APIs or SDKs.
You thrive in a multidisciplinary environment where clear communication matters. You work easily with customers and colleagues and actively consider how AI can create value across different organizations.
You are curious and solution-oriented, always looking for new technologies and smarter ways to work. You enjoy complex problems and finding elegant, effective solutions. You are comfortable in a dynamic work environment where you can develop and potentially progress into roles such as Senior Engineer, Lead Engineer, or Architect.
At Axians, we believe our people make the difference. In our Business Analytics unit, you will work with the latest Microsoft and IBM technologies, including our own Maestro data platform. Together, we help customers make real use of their data and turn it into valuable insights and innovative applications.
