As a Data Scientist Expert (Research & Development), your role will be fundamental to driving applied innovation in data and generative AI, combining strategic vision and technical rigor to create disruptive solutions, generate intellectual property, and guarantee the ethical and sustainable use of emerging technologies in the financial sector.. What are we looking for? We are looking for a professional with expertise in AI research and development, with quantitative training and a solid ability to solve complex problems. We require technical fluency in Python and its scientific ecosystem, mastery of agent architectures, API integration with the MCP standard, and a deep understanding of the fundamentals of Machine Learning and advanced algorithms. Your analytical mindset, critical thinking, and orientation toward teamwork will allow us to think big and transform complex data into innovative technological solutions with a direct and sustainable impact on the business. Main Responsibilities You will research and design disruptive solutions based on generative AI, advanced Machine Learning algorithms, and automated learning for the financial sector. You will configure and integrate systems under the MCP (Model Context Protocol) standard to provide models with secure access to tools, data, and external environments. You will develop architectures and inter-agent communication protocols, ensuring efficient and secure connections. You will create rapid prototypes by writing clean, modular, and reproducible code through disciplined software engineering practices. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, researchers, and business experts to turn cutting-edge research into valuable products. Challenges of the Role Leading the research and development of emerging technologies such as generative AI and agent ecosystems in the financial environment, overcoming highly complex technical challenges to create intellectual property and guarantee ethical, secure, and scalable solutions. Requirements Knowledge and Experience Required Knowledge: Expert level in the Python language and its scientific ecosystem (NumPy, pandas, etc.). Deep understanding and applied research in AI/ML fundamentals (search algorithms, convex and non-convex optimization, probabilistic and predictive models). Practical experience in designing agent ecosystems and inter-agent communication. Configuration and integration of APIs and connectors under the MCP (Model Context Protocol) standard. Mastery of version control with Git and good software engineering practices (clean, modular, and reproducible code). Desirable Knowledge: Experience or knowledge in the Banking and Finance sector. Mastery and research in ML platforms such as PyTorch and TensorFlow/Keras. Specialization in cutting-edge areas: Reinforcement Learning (RL), LLM-based agents, game theory, agent-based modeling (ABM), Natural Language Processing (NLP), or cryptography. Knowledge of low-level programming languages such as C++ or Java. Education: Bachelor's degree or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative areas. Experience: Solid demonstrable practical experience in Research and Development (R&D), project execution, and solving complex problems.
