AI Engineers for Practical Implementation of AI Solutions

Job description

At PA Consulting, we are expanding our AI team in Copenhagen. We are currently looking for AI engineers who are motivated to work hands-on with AI solutions and ensure that AI creates real value for organizations across different sectors.

We are seeking both AI engineers with a few years of experience who are ready for their next step and more experienced AI specialists who want to apply and further develop their technical skills in business-critical customer projects. We are looking for new colleagues with a technical, implementation-focused approach to AI and a desire to turn ideas and experiments into demos and production-ready customer solutions.

You will work in cross-disciplinary teams with data scientists, software engineers, business specialists, and leaders. In this role, you will have opportunities to:

Implement AI solutions in practice.

Advise customers on how AI tools can be technically matured and scaled.

Help bridge business needs and technical solutions.

We expect you to be eager to share your knowledge and able to explain complex technical topics clearly and accessibly, including to colleagues and customers without the same technical background.

At PA, we work from ideas and experimentation through to implemented solutions, focusing on quality, responsible AI, and scalability. Projects vary, but AI is never an end in itself; it is a means of solving concrete customer problems.

You will work on:

Designing, developing, and testing AI and GenAI solutions for concrete business needs.

Experimenting with and applying modern AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG architectures, and agent-based solutions.

Integrating AI models with data, APIs, and existing systems.

Contributing to AI architecture, quality, evaluation, and responsible use of AI.

Sharing knowledge and learning together in an active PA-wide AI community.

You will join a supportive, technically strong environment where you are not expected to know everything from day one, but can develop quickly through real projects, collaboration, and practical learning.

We are hiring consultants at several levels, so apply whether you have a couple of years of experience after graduation or many years of professional experience.

We are especially interested in candidates with:

Professional experience in AI, data science, or software development.

Good technical understanding and a desire to build, test, and improve solutions.

Programming experience in a relevant language.

Knowledge of modern AI technologies such as LLMs, GenAI, RAG, or ML pipelines.

Experience or interest in integrating models with data, APIs, and production environments.

Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate technical solutions understandably.

A relevant higher-education qualification in data science, IT, engineering, or natural sciences.

You do not necessarily need to meet all the criteria above. We encourage you to apply even if you match only part of the profile.

The following are advantages, but not requirements:

Building end-to-end AI prototypes, including integrating vector databases such as Vertex AI, Weaviate, Pinecone, or similar.

Frontend prototyping in React or equivalent technologies.

Developing AI and agent-based solutions in Python, including frameworks such as LangChain or equivalent.

AI solution evaluation and observability, such as RAGAS or similar.

Using modern “vibe-coding” tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Claude Code.

Cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

DevOps, MLOps, or LLMOps principles.

Consulting or collaborating with customers and users.
