Join Valeo teams committed to reinventing mobility! We are recruiting a DataOps Engineer for our AI4ALL team. Locations: Créteil and Paris 17. The AI4ALL program aims to integrate artificial intelligence into Group activities to optimize and automate processes and improve decision-making in areas such as R&D, production, and quality. As a DataOps Engineer, you will establish and manage engineering practices, tools, and automation frameworks that enable the Data team to deliver data products reliably, quickly, and repeatably. As the owner of pipeline delivery quality, you will lead CI/CD, environment management, test automation, and operational excellence across all data flows.

Your responsibilities

CI/CD and deployment: design, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data processing and ML models, from testing through production.

Environment management: maintain development, testing, and production environments and automate their configuration with Terraform.

Testing and data quality: implement automated tests, quality checks, and regression-detection mechanisms.

Dependency management: administer Python packages, shared libraries, and Docker containers while ensuring their security.

Orchestration: administer and optimize Airflow/Cloud Composer, monitor pipelines, and manage alerts.

Operational reliability: track pipeline performance, manage incidents, and continually improve reliability and efficiency.

Collaboration and support: help data teams adopt DataOps best practices and collaborate with Cloud, Data Quality, Observability, and MLOps teams.

About you

You have at least 4 years of DataOps or data engineering experience. You have built a DataOps platform from scratch. You are proficient in administering and optimizing Apache Airflow. You have experience managing data platforms across multiple environments. You are proficient in Terraform for environment automation. You have experience defining and applying DataOps standards across teams. You have helped improve pipeline reliability and reduce incidents. You have mentored engineers on DataOps practices.
