Your IT Future, Delivered
DHL IT Services connects people and supports the global economy through continuous innovation and sustainable digital solutions. More than 5,600 IT experts work across borders and help shape the technological backbone of the world’s largest logistics company. All locations have Great Place to Work certification.
Digitalization, simply delivered
The team develops solutions for transport and delivery in Germany’s mail and parcel business. A flagship project uses AI to rebuild a business-critical system for purchasing transport services. It emphasizes agentic AI, agile DevOps, and Microsoft Azure. The team’s principles are explicit architecture rather than hidden framework magic; clear contracts and documented decisions; automated tests and verifiable quality criteria; AI accelerates delivery while people remain accountable; and production AI must be secure, observable, and evaluable.
Responsibilities
- Help implement every phase of frontend, backend, and integration development with and through AI.
- Communicate directly with customers, technical experts, and AI agents to align business/technical requirements and improve AI-supported development workflows.
- Review human- and AI-generated code for functional correctness, architecture, maintainability, security, privacy, test coverage, performance, and operability.
- Support the architect in analyzing existing systems and transferring business rules into a modern architecture.
- Use AI as an engineering tool while understanding its limits and retaining the ability to develop, analyze, and review software safely.
