MES / MOM & AI Engineer Consultant

As our Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation activities grow, we are looking for an MES/MOM & AI Engineer Consultant to help clients define, design, and deploy MES/MOM solutions and industrialize Artificial Intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities

Industrial consulting and transformation (MES/MOM): support clients from business-case development through implementation of technology solutions; help define MOM strategy and build digital-transformation roadmaps; write functional and technical specifications for Smart Factory projects; design MES architecture and infrastructure suited to clients' business processes; perform Fit/Gap analyses and recommend appropriate solutions; define consistent information-system architectures and integrate them with existing systems; create and maintain manufacturing instructions, recipes, and master data in MES systems; test, validate, and optimize digital work instructions; help users resolve incidents and adopt new solutions; design and deliver user training; participate in commissioning solutions at client sites; transfer knowledge, manage change, and support project teams.

AI and Data solution development: collect, analyze, and prepare data needed to develop AI models; design, develop, and train Machine Learning and Deep Learning models; develop Generative AI solutions based on Large Language Models (LLMs); design Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures; monitor model performance and continuously improve it; collaborate with business teams to identify and prioritize AI use cases; write technical documentation and define development best practices; ensure solutions meet security, governance, and data-quality requirements.

Candidate profile

Master's degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent. Significant experience with MES/MOM, Smart Manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 projects. Good understanding of industrial processes and production systems. Experience developing AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in French and English.
