Experienced Field Sales Consultant (Independent)

Do you have real experience with cold prospecting, in the field or by phone? Join SumUp and support merchants with simple, trusted payment solutions.

Responsibilities

Prospect cafés, restaurants, shops, salons and businesses in your area. Identify their needs, present the right solution and give demonstrations. Support merchants through activation and grow your portfolio.

You carry out your own prospecting; no lead portfolio is provided.

Compensation

This activity is paid exclusively by commission, with no fixed salary and no cap:

• 50% immediate commission on hardware, software and payments generated by the merchant during their first month.

• 20% recurring revenue from each signed merchant’s activity, paid monthly for up to 24 months.

Example: an active merchant generating about €15,000 in monthly payment volume could allow you to earn more than €1,000 in combined commissions over 24 months. This indicative amount varies with products sold, activation, actual volume and whether the merchant remains active. No minimum income is guaranteed.

Tools and work arrangements

SumUp provides initial training, a demonstration terminal and sales materials. A local contact is available to support you. Your territory is defined during recruitment based on your location and open areas. You organize your work independently. Travel and related expenses are your responsibility; no company car is provided.

Profile

• At least one year of cold-prospecting experience, in the field or by phone, within the last six years.
• Comfortable taking a proactive sales approach with businesses.
• Independent, persistent, reliable and results-oriented.
• Available at least three days per week.
• Valid SIRET number when starting.
