What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Credit Risk Models - Data Scientist to join the risk and advanced analytics team. The main objective of the position is the design, creation and implementation of credit risk models using quantitative tools and cloud data processing.

Main responsibilities

Create credit scoring, ratings and parameter estimation models for provisions and capital.

Create income models, early warnings and capital reserves.

Create predictive models using machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence techniques.

Process and analyze large volumes of data on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Communicate the quantitative and methodological impacts of the models to the different business areas.

Challenges of the position: Lead and execute the creation of models from start to finish, covering from the data exploration and extraction phase to the effective communication of impacts to the business in an advanced analytics and artificial intelligence environment.

The requirements you must meet are the following:

Desirable knowledge

SQL.

Previous knowledge of the banking sector.

Basic English level (oriented toward reading and technical comprehension).

Required knowledge

Technical proficiency in SAS, Python or PySpark.

Solid knowledge of statistics, probability, mathematics and machine learning.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Physics, Data Science or related fields.
