About Event
The Africa Youth Skilling Conference 2027 (AYSC 2027) is a landmark, continent-wide initiative designed to tackle Africa’s youth unemployment challenge and bridge the critical skills gap. As over 60% of Africa’s population is under 25 years old alongside youth unemployment average exceeding 20%, AYSC 2027 serves as a premier convening and innovation platform to turn this demographic transition into a competitive advantage.
Aligned with the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the 3-day high-impact event focuses on empowering young Africans as key drivers of Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies, economic transformation, and sustainable development.
Building on the success of its inaugural edition, which engaged over 5,000 participants, AYSC 2027 projects welcoming 7,000+ in-person delegates and over 15,000+ livestream viewers across the globe.
