About Event
Code and Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. Many people bring projects to work on, and many other people socialize the entire time. It's entirely up to you!
👋 The Introduction Circle
Around 30 minutes into the event (12:30 pm), we will do a standup in a circle.
Round 1:
Your name
Your occupation/professional interests
What would you like help with?
Round 2:
Job opportunities you're hiring for OR announce that you are looking for one. If not, that's cool.
Community events you wanna plug
After the intro circle, everything is self-organized!
🛠️ Tech Workshops
We offer opportunities to host workshops after the intro circle. These are free for all and! If you have specialty knowledge you'd like to share, or wish to find an audience for your tech talk, please reach out to any of our volunteers or @ us on discord! For today:
Building a Self-Evolving Mobile App with Connectors - Ziyuan Zhu
None of the consumer AI apps met my needs, I’ll share how I built my own: OpenOx, an open-source, on-device agent that runs on my phone and connects to mainstream AI assistants, everyday apps, and legacy websites. Instead of relying on a fixed set of integrations, it can create reusable connectors when users need them, support any model including local ones, and keep sensitive context, credentials, and browsing state on device.
☕ Free coffee! Please RSVP to secure your spot and help us get an accurate count on coffee.
🅿️ Parking advisory
Unfortunately, no parking will be provided for this event. Plenty street parking options are available near pike place market.
