Codex Hackathon for Miami's Non-Profits
🎙️ Codex Miami is excited to announce Miami's first Codex hackathon with The Miami Foundation at The LAB Miami on November 7th and 8th!
🤖 This hackathon is part of the DevDay Exchange.
🌴 It's Agents for Good: teams take real problems from South Florida non-profits and turn them into working AI agents and tools those organizations can actually use on Monday. Not slide decks. Shipped software.
☄️ Miami's first Codex Hackathon will give FREE Codex and OpenAI API credits ($100 in Codex credits + $50 in OpenAI API credits per person) to over 50 teams building AI agents and tools for the non-profits that keep South Florida running!
🏆 Title Sponsor: The Miami Foundation
The Miami Foundation has spent decades backing the organizations doing the hardest work in this community, giving over $905M to the nonprofits that need it most. For one weekend, we're putting builders and engineers behind that same mission, and handing the results back to the nonprofits.
And just in time, as Miami gets ready to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Give Miami Day on November 19, the largest single-city giving day in the nation, and Miami's biggest day of generosity. This online giving campaign is our community's opportunity to support our region's 1,000+ nonprofits and to show up for the city we love.
Acceptance Criteria:
🔹 Codex
🔹 OpenAI API
🔹 OpenAI Agents SDK

🌞 Huge thanks to the Codex community for helping bring this to Miami. None of this happens without community.
Two days. 50+ teams. A city's worth of non-profits with problems worth solving. Let's build Miami.
